My journey into the world of Data Science and Geoinformatics began during my undergraduate studies in Geography at Delhi University. I was captivated by the analytical aspects of spatial data and the potential it held for solving complex real-world problems. This fascination led me to pursue a Master of Science in Geoinformatics at TERI School of Advanced Studies, where I delved deeper into GIS tools and remote sensing techniques, combining technical skills with my passion for data-driven insights. My master's thesis focused on predicting the spread of Influenza A and B using a spatial Bayesian distributed lag nonlinear model, allowing me to explore the intersection of epidemiology and spatial data analysis to address public health challenges.

Seeking to expand my expertise, I enrolled in a Master of Data Science program at Monash University. Here, I immersed myself in advanced data analysis, machine learning, and cloud computing, realizing that I could merge my logical and creative thinking to develop innovative data solutions. My role as an Associate Software Engineer at Precisely enabled me to apply these skills in a professional setting, where I contributed to developing and enhancing data products that support business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Recognized with the Sir John Monash Scholarship for Excellence and multiple performance awards, I am committed to continuous learning and professional development. My technical proficiency includes programming languages such as Python, R, and Java, along with expertise in AWS, SQL, MongoDB, Tableau, Power BI, and PySpark. Additionally, I am adept at using GIS tools like ArcGIS Pro and QGIS to deliver comprehensive geospatial solutions.

I am passionate about utilizing data to drive meaningful improvements in healthcare and other sectors, aiming to contribute to projects that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiencies. With a collaborative spirit and meticulous attention to detail, I am eager to embrace new challenges and make a significant impact in the data engineering landscape.

At Notion, I was responsible for creating and iterating on digital product designs. I worked closely with the design and development teams to create user-centered designs and contributed to the user research process.

As the Head of Marketing for the Design Club at USF, I was responsible for creating awareness about our events and initiatives. I managed our social media presence, designed promotional materials, and coordinated with other student organizations for collaborative events.

As the Convenor of Monash Future Thinkers, I lead project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives. I organize and facilitate meetings to promote collaboration among team members and drive strategic discussions. Additionally, I implement future-focused projects that align with organizational goals, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement within the community.

At Precisely, I played a dual role in software development and quality assurance, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle. I developed new features aligned with business needs, which reduced processing times and enhanced product functionality. My responsibilities included conducting thorough testing and documentation to ensure high-quality product delivery. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to optimize product features and utilized tools such as AWS services, GIS, ArcGIS, and Python automation to drive innovation and streamline development processes.

During my internship at the Indian School of Business, I leveraged GIS and remote sensing techniques to support multiple research projects. I conducted spatial analysis and provided critical data interpretations to research teams, enhancing the accuracy and depth of their findings. My role involved managing geospatial data, performing geocoding, and creating detailed maps to visualize research outcomes, thereby contributing to the advancement of public health strategies and policies.
